[Fleet9] 2009 Homerun Cruise

As a part of our annual dinner last Saturday, in discussing cruise
destinations for next year I asked the group if thee was still interest in
going to South Beach for a Giants game. All at the dinner wanted to do this,
giving us 7 boats signed up already. We had consumed a little wine by then,
so will I need confirmation from those who were at the dinner that they have
checked their calendars and still want to sign up for this cruise.

We can reserve  up to 10 slips at South Beach Marina, and can usually
arrange for more if needed individually 60 days prior to the date. I need to
firm up plans this week with South Beach Marina and the Giants ticket
office, before I go on vacation. We may also be able to get a discount in
the game tickets if they are ordered this week.
 
Cruise Date is the weekend of July 11-12, with the game on Saturday the 11th
The Giants are playing San Diego
Game Time is TBD, based on television schedule it could be either an
afternoon or evening game
Ticket price is $29 each
 
There is a $10 per slip reservation fee
In addition to this the slip fees are $1 per foot per night
 
The $10 slip reservation fee and the game tickets need to be paid for up
front. I will make all the reservations, and pay the up front costs. Once I
get the ticket cost firmed up I will let you know what you owe. The $36 slip
fee will need to be paid ~ 60 days before the game. I will send out a
separate notice when I need to collect the money for this.
 
Please let me know if you want to go, will need a slip or will drive in, and
how many tickets you will need for the game.
